How Mike got into sales
Mike Begg worked in consulting and studied real estate, but he was looking for more time freedom. He knew he wanted to break away from the typical 9-5, so he learned how to sell on Amazon.
After watching his Amazon dropshipping business take off, he knew he had found a formula to succeed on that platform. Mike got to where he excelled at marketing and enjoyed it more than the other aspects of his Amazon business.
Amazon has an algorithm that connects customers with the products they are looking for in the same way that Google’s algorithm connects searchers with their queries. His understanding of the intricacies of their algorithm led him to begin coaching others on marketing with Amazon. He began coaching other Amazon sellers on how to maximize their sales and generate more revenue in 2015.
