Creating her own business was the best choice
Jessica started her career in sales and discovered that she could triple her salary by employing proven sales techniques. She listened to books on tape (remember those!) at every opportunity and taught herself to sell herself to become the most successful salesperson that she could be.
After working for various companies she finally gained the courage to strike out on her own, and of course, she wishes she had done so sooner. Now she helps business owners and sales professionals discover a proven sales and marketing strategy by using all the modern tools available.
Create residual sales
Growing your sales from seed to orchard isn’t about making the next sale, more importantly, it is about thinking about what you need to do to build residual sales. You may want to look into creating books, trainings, or membership sites in addition to collaborations and affiliate relationships as well.
First ask yourself, what would bring in the most money? Then you can think about what would bring you joy. And lastly, consider what would take the least amount of your time.
Understanding these 3 things can help you decide what kind of product you can create to provide residual income.
How to grow your sales from seed to orchard
To improve your sales you first have to understand your ideal client. Home in on your customer avatar. Be as specific as you can be. Once you know who you are speaking to then you can really understand their needs.
After you understand who your ideal customer is, then you can learn all the places they frequent. These places can be both online and in person.
Once you learn where your customers are then you can start to get involved in their activities. Go to conferences, participate in online groups, and make yourself seen and heard. Show that you are the expert in your field.
After getting to know your customers, use their references to expand regionally and then nationally. The sky is the limit! Make sure to stick around until the end to hear Jessica explain how she used one hospital affiliation to gain national recognition.
