Kris created a business that could run without her
Kris Ward is an author, speaker, and podcaster who is an expert on leveraging time to scale businesses. Years ago Kris was working 16-hour days, doing everything herself, and losing sleep. Her husband helped her realize that she needed help.
It was a good thing she got help because, upon her husband’s illness, Kris had to substantially step away from the business to help him and could only check in periodically. Two years later when, she was able to return she discovered, much to her surprise, that her business ran well without her and her clients never even noticed her absence.
Her business not only survived but thrived because she created a winning team.
You can’t afford not to have a team by your side
You may think that you can’t afford a team, but the truth is that you can’t afford not to have a team.
Without support, you’re losing money. By trying to do everything yourself you’re damaging your overhead and delaying your income which results in diminished opportunities. You’ll never be able to scale your business by working alone. Investing in your business is an investment in yourself.
There is always so much to learn as a business owner. The landscape is constantly changing. You need to stay on top of the latest SEO trends, the newest social media platform, or whatever the next big thing is in your industry.
The keys to creating an effective team in your business
Many people think of a team as a full-time crew. However, you can create a team by hiring independent contractors.
Once you realize you need a team, then you have to set up systems and processes to ensure an efficient workflow. Kris uses her Super Tool Kit system to ensure that things run smoothly and her team knows just what to do.
The trick is that she doesn’t rule over her team but instead allows for collaboration. Listen in to hear an easy way to get started in developing your systems and processes.
You don’t need more time in your day, you need more results. Learn how to achieve them by building a collaborative team and effective systems and processes by listening to this interview with Kris Ward.
