How Jay became the Zen Dad
Jay Kalryzian was a stay-at-home dad and completely dedicated to his kids when his wife asked for a divorce. Suddenly a single dad, he had to figure out how to earn a living and provide for his children while maintaining a safe and happy home for his children.
Jay joined the Flow Research Collective to learn how to best utilize his time. While the collective helped him perform at his best, he discovered that most of the tools in the course weren’t very practical to implement with small children at home.
Instead of getting frustrated by his situation, he reached out to the other parents in the collective and ended up forming his own parenting group within the collective. While he was helping many of the world’s top performers become better parents, they were coaching him on high-level performance.
Having a support system is essential to successful parenting
With this foundational knowledge, Jay was able to use the support of the group to evolve his ideas and become a parenting coach. Now most of Jay’s time is spent strategizing with other dads to help them make the most out of their fatherhood. He helps his clients find the calm among the daily chaos of life as a father.
Jay knows how important having a support system is. Without his mentors, he wouldn’t have learned all that he did. Part of his coaching involves giving dads a support system to help them through the hard times so that they can perform their best with their children.
Life is better when you’re having fun
As a dad, Jay understands how important it is to have fun. Fun is an essential component of being a father. He coaches his clients on how they can bring more fun into their parenting.
Another fundamental aspect of parenting is recovery. In addition to breathwork and meditation, Jay knows how important clean eating is to maintaining your center. Parenting is hard and dads often have the weight of the world on their shoulders. Jay teaches his clients how to build recovery into their routines so that they can show up and be better parents. Listen in to learn how to use breathwork to bring yourself back to a peaceful state when you feel like you are about to lose your marbles.
Speaking of fun, this was such a fun interview. Make sure to press play to see what you can learn from Jay and his amazing energy!
